KeyCreator:Home Use License

The KeyCreator's Home Use License allow users to have a licensed copy of KeyCreator software, which they can install and use on their home computer, without taking the SIM / Dongle away from their office. Home Use License will be locked to one single computer, to either the Hard Disk ID or Network Card MAC Address (MS Window call it Physical Address). Home use licenses are valid until end of their AUC (Annual Upgrade Contract) subscription period only. When you renew your AUC, You will need to reapply for extention for another year.

Obtain the MAC Address

Firstly we will need to get the MAC address for your network card on the Computer that you'll have the Home Use License Install:

1. Click on Start Menu
2. Select Run
3. In the textfield of the Run dialog, type cmd then Click OK.
4. At the DOS windows, type ipconfig /all then Press Enter.
5. The following result will appear:

6. Notice the Physical Address under Ethernet Adapter (Local Area Connection), The line labeled Physical Address represents the MAC address we needed here.

In event that there's more than 1 Ethernet Adapter (eg. Local Area Connection 2 or Wireless Area Connection etc.) only chose the first Adapter (Local Area Connection).

Application for Home Use License

1. Construct an email and send it to STS with the following details:
   • Company Name
   • Contact Name
   • Kubotekusa Account Number
   • SIM Identifier No.
   • Network Card MAC Address
2. You will receive a reply email within 3 business days, with a Home Use License.lic file attached.

Apply the Home Use License

1. Once you receive your license.lic file, you can simply paste the License file onto KeyCreator Directory:
2. Go to C:\KeyCreator7.0 rename the existing License.lic file to something else eg. Old-License.lic
3. Save the attached license.lic file to C:\KeyCreator7.0 directory.
4. You may now able to run KeyCreator Start Menu => Programs => KeyCreator 7.0.1 => KeyCreator 7.0.1
