KeyCreator:Windows Vista

STS has developed the following instruction for customers using Windows Vistaâ„¢, to improving your KeyCreator Performance:

  1. You need to get the latest Video Driver with OpenGL support. Once this was installed, KeyCreator's display performance was at least as fast as it was in XP.
  2. The WinHlp32.exe fix from Microsoft allows the help files to run.
  3. Disable the Windows Aero effect:
    1. Go to Start Menu => Control Panel (or Start Menu => Setting => Control Panel on Classic Start Menu)
    2. Select Customize Colors under Appearance and Personalization
    3. Click on Open Classic Appearance Properties
    4. Under Color Scheme Select Windows Vista Basic or Windows Standard
    5. Click Apply then OK
